Guest guest
http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/05.25.05/dining-0521.html the article also spoke of the 1970 American campaign smearing of coconut oil. Six years ago, my Burmese friend who consumes tropical oil (coconut and palm oil), told me about this Smearing Campign. To justify tropical oils are not bad in MODERATION, I usually tell people, how many Thai or Indonesian folks who eat tropical oil, are FAT and/or have heart attacks like the Americans? (not too many) The Asian women are like 105 lb and the Men are like 130lb rails. http://www.jumpingmonkeycafe.com/ located at the well known 418 building which is next to the Metro station (Greyhound) http://www.four-eighteen.org/index.php?pop=1 & pop=1 == correction: Hulu House still serve fake meats in some of their dishes. (If possible, I personally prefer not to eat fake meat) == Best of City Search in SF VEGETARIAN RESTAURANTS http://www.bestofcitysearch.com/2004/sanfrancisco/restaurants/vegetarian_food/in\ dex.html -=== Does anyone one where is the former owner's of Lotus Garden of SF Chinatown went to? Yes, there are a few that added meat to their menu to stay afloat after the fact. Some became solvent afterwards, like Paradise in San Rafael, but some did not recover.. like Jouberts and Stoa. This list is just for historical facts and stats. If you have the correct date when it was closed and how long it lasted, I would like to know. (most of the dates are guessed) I hope this list can be beneficial for people around the world who wants some data on opening up a vegetarian restaurant. It will also show people how hard it is to open a restaurant; it is even harder if it’s a vegetarian restaurant. Hopefully, with the data on this list, it can benefit future restaurant owners and make their restaurant a success. Please do not ask me about vegetarian questions. I will not have time to answer them. I hope you understand. Do not ask me when “so and so restaurant will open” *shrug* I have no idea, please ask the RESTAURANT OWNERS directly. Thank you Ultimate Guide and Friends for the restaurant updates. 9/5/05 http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/ any corrections or addition, pls email to sunny_outdoors most of the dates are not accurate signature: http://www.bayareaveg.org Living Foods: SFLivingFoods/ due to my high amount of emails, I am unable to answer everyone's emails on vegetarian questions.
