Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Re the book club that we're trying to get off the ground: Please vote for your favorite book on the list below for our first book, if you think there's a relatively good chance that you'll try to attend the first discussion meeting. The deadline for voting is Monday, 19 September. Also, please either make some suggestions for our once a month meeting day and time, and/or please share days/times that aren't good for you. Because I nominated the books, I won't also vote for my choice of book. I will share that I can never meet on Thursdays, but that I will try to be flexible about being to be there for other days/times most suggested. For your vote and suggestions, you can either email me at LHveganliving, send me a personal message at www.bayareaveg.org/forum/ where my member name is LHLisavegan, or you can post on the running book club discussion thread at http://www.bayareaveg.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=638 & start=30 (where it's very easy to register if you haven't already done so). Once the votes are in and I see how many people might be interested, I'll make some arrangements, or Tammy probably will if an ar/veg book is selected. If it looks as though we'll have 6-15 people, I'll make a reservation for a private room at the San Francisco Public Library. If we have just a few people, all of us can decide on a good veg*n restaurant where we could meet the first time; perhaps sometime in October. As votes and suggestions come in, I will edit my post on the web site to show the running tally: http://www.bayareaveg.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=638 & start=30 And, if you've emailed me, I will email back when some decisions are made in case you don't have web access. I really think that this could be a fun activity so I hope that it comes to fruition. Thank you so much for your participation. I'm looking forward to getting together with everyone!
