Opening Cages and Opening Minds -- The Campaign against the Battery Cage

Info: As activists in Europe continue to ban the most abusive intensive

confinement systems for farm animals, the U.S. is just beginning to

make our first strides against standard factory farming practices.

Learn more about the national campaign to end what is perhaps the

cruelest factory farming practice: battery cages for egg-laying hens.

The HSUS' Paul Shapiro will discuss what progress has been made in

recent years to improve the plight of laying hens and how each one of

us can help in the campaign to free these birds from their cages.
