Hi all

a friend asked me what vegan cheese she could use to put on pizza in the oven and whether the vegan cheese would really 'melt'

I have heard abotu 'follow your heart' cheese, is this the best one avaialble out there?

(I went to Berkeley Natural Groceries today in Berkeley and they carried two varieties of Follow your heart vegan cheeses, and I dont know which ones to recommend and whether to recommend this brand)

Thanks in advance

Follow Your Heart is the cheese that Fellini (in Berkeley) uses on its

vegan pizza, and everyone seems to love it. The best way to get it to

melt evenly is to shred it first. Mozzarella would be my first choice

to put on pizza.

make sure to cook it (the follow your heart cheese) at 450 degrees F.

any lower than 450 and it won't melt.

if you can't find it in berkeley, rainbow in sf always has it.

mozzarella is indeed the best.
