Guest guest
Hi folks Just a reminder about our Bok Choy dinner on Friday. Bok Choy Garden is a Chinese Restaurant in SF. What's fun about this place is that they have 6 boards of "specials", which I think outnumber the items on ther regular menu. We've tried Bok Choy Garden several times over the past couple of years, and have found some favorite dishes. Two of our favorite dishes are the (faux) General's Beef. It's a thin strip of seitan which is battered and then fried, and presented in a dark, spicy sauce. Another favorite is the "tofu cheese rolls". There's no cheese. It's actually a roll made using bean curd sheets filled with a seasoned tofu mixture. Here's more info on the restaurant http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=98 Details about the dinner: Where: Bok Choy Garden, SFWhen: 8/26/05 Friday, 6:00 pmHosts : Tammy and ChrisRSVP directly to evite (also contains address) - http://www.evite.com//sfdinner_aug2005 If you're planning to join us, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly to sit together.
