More Battery Cage Hens Available for Adoption

Hi,

 

They picked up some more of the Gilroy hens today, so there are more

available for adoption. Here are some of the places that took them,

as well as Animal Place:

I took 120 hens, and although I found homes for most of them, I took

some more today and they are available for adoption. I am also

trying to put together a chicken coop building class for people, if

that's the part that worries you. I'm keeping them until I can make

sure they're healthy, including blood work and fecal tests.

 

They looked and smelled absolutely horrible when I got them, but

they are quickly adjusting to all the space, and would make a great

addition to your home. Today they dined on watermelon and heirloom

tomatoes. At first they didn't know what they were, but they quickly

figured it out and ate every bite!

 

By the way, through messages like this, I found homes for at least

288 hens! Unfortunately, the facility had 160,000. Make sure to get

the word out to people who eat these eggs. The images of these hens

is enough to make anyone stop eating commercial eggs!
