I'm also surprised that someone thought that BAVeg was mostly

AR-oriented. I'm part of some that are, and believe me,

BAV is nothing compared to them. But that's not why I joined. I joined

to find out useful info about BA activities, restaurants, people, etc.

and I certainly feel that that is what I am getting on this list. I've

recommended it to quite a number of people in the area.

 

I also agree about the noise level at Herbivore and thank the person for

writing to them. It's funny that although I've complained to my spouse,

I've never spoken to anyone there about it - although I have asked a few

times for a coat hook to be put in the bathroom at the Divisadero

location because there's no where to put my bag or coat when I go except

on the trash (yuck!) or on the floor (more yuck!)

In the past I have used Lysene cream. Now I use Lysene tablets but for a baby

the cream might work. Check witht he dr first to make sure it is ok to use that

on a baby though.

I agree Tea Tree oil is linked to this condition, but for a baby its a

strong taste and there are some risks attached in putting some

essences on the lips.

There are some milder ones with the same anti-viral properties.

The one marked 'therapeutic values' includes 'anti viral' and

selecting that will show the commonly used, and safe options, for anti

viral properties.

 

As for the cream, I have used Calendula cream on such sores to good

effect. I am sure there are others.
