Guest guest
Hi folks Regarding the current line-up of Bay Area Vegetarians monthly dining out events and where they are happening -- I'd like to take an informal survey and ask for your feedback. Do our dining out events reflect the demographics of our membership? Should we be having a monthly dinner in another area? Do you have a suggestion or interest in hosting a monthly dinner? Here is a list of our current monthly dinners: South Bay: San Jose, 2nd Saturday, hosts : Candace & Nancy East Bay: Oakland, 3rd Sunday, host: Bob Peninsula: Palo Alto, 2nd Tuesday, host: Sean North Bay: Marin, 2nd Thursday, host: Alicia SF: - 3rd Saturday, varies, host: Thea - Last Friday, varies, host: Tammy & Chris You can find the details for all of these events, and more, on our website at http://www.BayAreaVeg.org Some event changes & news Starting in September, the Marin dinner is moving to the 2nd Thursday from the 2nd Tuesday. The SF dining out events have undergone some changes in recent months - Thea's Friday dinner changed to a Saturday lunch event sandwiched between a KFC protest and Letter Writing Party. Tammy and Chris have changed from a monthly dinner at Shangri-La to a dinner series that will rotate between their favorite restaurants, and those suggested to them. Dave is no longer hosting dinners on behalf of Bay Area Vegetarians, but we thank him for his help. Also thanks to Connie who hosted the New World dinners for the first quarter of this year. And big thanks to Bob, Sean, Candace & Nancy, Thea, and Alicia who are hosting events every month! Please feel free to send us your feedback and suggestions. Cheers, Tammy & Chris Join Team BAVeg and volunteer to make a difference..Free Restaurant Guide or Create Your Own - Monthly Event Calendar - Veggie Mentor ProgramCurrent Newsletter Bay Area Vegetarians * www.BayAreaVeg.org
