I forgot about it since I don’t go there often, but I’ve been there several times and have been very happy with the choices. They have a large vegan menu, and are very accomodating. The portions are very large and innovative. They have a beautiful waterfall in the restaurant, and a " new age " bookstore attached. While it is great that there is one vegetarian restaurant in San Mateo (some counties do not even have one, while some cities like San Jose have 3 on one street, unfair!), we need a vegan restaurant that can serve both vegans and vegetarians. My vote would be for a type of veg restaurant that does not currently exist in the Bay Area ... a vegan pizzeria! There are many pizza places that offer or can do a vegan pizza, but it would be wonderful to have a pizzeria where everything is vegan, all the time.
