Guest guest
Hey there, I'm looking to get my sister an infant nutrition book that will be veg-friendly. Not a vegetarian or vegan one, because she isn't and will shun it as " too alternative " and not fit for her needs (I know her well), but I want something that will acknowledge that some children will have vegetarian or vegan diets, and not judge their diets negatively. E.g. When talking about protein, it's ok if it talks about animal flesh and products, but it should also mention other sources and validate them, and maybe even acknowledge that some children don't eat animals and they're fine and strong and healthy. This would be a useful aid for when I have input regarding my nephew's diet, especially because she looks to me for menu advice. But it has to be something that she won't perceive comes from " the vegetarian agenda " . if y'all know what I mean. any suggestions? -Florencia
Guest guest
Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron is the best baby nutrition book I've ever come across. It's vegetarian from a health perspective, and it's widely read and accepted by non-vegetarians.
