do you volunteer w/animal rescue/shelter group?

Hi folks

 

Just curious if there are any folks on this list who are active volunteers with local animal rescue groups. If so, could you please email me and let me know what groups you are involved with, where they are located, and if you know what their stance is on vegetarianism, or your impression of whether they are receptive to it.

 

And, if they have a volunteer email list, perhaps you can post (or ask it to be posted) details about the 6/5 presentation on California Animal Agriculture: Facts & Fallacies (see previous email) or website for details

I think it is a natural extension for people who care for cats, dogs, rabbits, etc. to widen their circle of compassion to encompass cows, chickens, pigs, etc.
