Or should I say, a revival of the protests that took place there in the

past.

 

Thank you to everyone who joined me for our first monthly protest at

KFC in Palo Alto. We had 10 people, including a high school student and

his family, and were very visible from our corner location. Nancy

brought yummy veggie drumsticks from Tofoo Com Chay, to hand out.

Someone came by to take photos for a school newspaper. KFC complained

to the police, but the officer was very nice and confirmed that we were

doing nothing wrong. There were a few hecklers from cars, and one clown

who tried to start something by eating a chicken leg in our faces...

yawn. Afterward, some of us headed to Bay Leaf for snacks.
