Guest guest
Polydactyl Rescue Cats Seek Good Homes (to see pictures of all of them, go to craigslist, pets, and then do a search for " polydactyl " -- they're in three separate postings) Currently available to wonderful homes - seven lovely polydactyl cats (they have extra fingers). These four female and three male cats have been in foster care for a few months, since being rescued from a home where they were neglected. All the cats are around a year to eighteen months old and they are very sweet and gentle. They have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and have tested negative for FIV/FELV. There will be an adoption fee. Brothers GONZALO and GABRIEL would like to be adopted together as they are very close - they usually sleep snuggled together. They are both nice gentle guys, somewhat shy with strangers, but they soon warm up when you play with them. They REALLY enjoy playing with a cat dancer or shoelace. These boys both have glossy black coats and amber eyes. SOFIA is a slender long haired girl with glamorous Maine-coon markings and amber eyes. She is sweet and playful and gets along well with other cats. She would like to find a home with an easygoing cat who needs a little sister/playmate, or even better, to be adopted along with her cousin Pascal of whom she is very fond. PASCAL is a handsome marbled grey cat with amber eyes. He's very good-natured and laid-back, gets along well with other cats and enjoys a work-out with the cat dancer. He'd love to be adopted along with his friend Sofia, but would adjust well to a home with another friendly cat. BELLA is the smallest of the cats. Like Pascal she has a marbled grey coat and amber eyes. She's quite dainty and kittenish, very playful. Her favorite games are soccer and tennis -- if you roll a ball to her, she will roll it right back. She also likes to hide behind a box and leap out at a shoelace or toy mouse. Bella gets along fine with her roommates though she doesn't seem to be especially attached to any of them. She'd probably like to be the little sister to another (not too assertive) cat. GISELLE is a lovely, slender lady with a sleek black-brown coat. Like her siblings/cousins she also has those amber eyes and extra toes. Giselle is energetic, playful and probably the most outgoing member of the family. She enjoys being petted (especially ear-rubs), likes to sleep at the foot of the bed, and often follows me from one room to another. She tolerates other cats but might prefer to find a home where she doesn't have to share the attention with another pet. CARLA is a sweet cat who enjoys playing and being petted. Like Giselle she tolerates other cats but would probably prefer to have a human all to herself. Carla is a long haired grey cat (she looks like a Russian Blue), with amber eyes and huge paws (yes, extra fingers). She's quite a conversationalist, who will greet you with sweet chirps when you arrive home, and want to know how your day was.
