June 1: The

Witness

In the award-winning documentary THE WITNESS,

Eddie Lama explains how he feared and avoided animals for most of his

life, until the love of a kitten opened his heart, inspiring him to

rescue abandoned animals, become a vegetarian, and ultimately, to bring

his message of compassion to the streets of New York. With humor and

sincerity, Eddie tells the story of his remarkable change in

consciousness, sharing along the way some of the shocking realities of

the meat and fur industries.

June 8: Lolita -- Slave to

Entertainment

This Provocative and Revealing must-see

documentary uniquely addresses man's relationship with wildlife. It

speaks not only to animal lovers and activists, but to anyone at all

who may have been duped by marine theme park propaganda. In fact, this

is the film that an entire industry would rather you not see. And

whether you like it or not, Lolita: Slave to Entertainment is assured

to ignite conversation -- if not heated

debate.

June 15: The Emotional World of

Farm Animals

The Emotional World of Farm Animals is a

delightful documentary for viewers of all ages about the

thinking and feeling side of animals that are all too often

just viewed as food. Jefferey Masson, author of When Elephants Weep and

Dogs Never Lie About Love, leads viewers through the personal journey

he underwent while writing his latest book, The Pig Who Sang to

The Moon. This journey into the sentient, emotional lives of farm

animals brings Masson to animal sanctuaries around the country

where caregivers and the animals themselves tell their harrowing

stories of rescue and escape .

June 22: Lethal

Medicine

This documentary video debunks the myths of

vivisection animal experimentation) in cancer research, diabetes,

cardiovascular diseases, birth defects, vaccination, spinal cord

injury, AIDS, etc., and for the testing of cosmetics and chemical

substances such as pesticides and pharmaceutical drugs.

June 29: Peaceable

Kingdom

Imagine awakening one day to realize that the

work you were trained to do since birth, the life you had always

imagined you'd lead, the very values that had been taught in your

family for generations, went against the deepest part of your being. In

Peaceable

Kingdom, we hear the

riveting stories of people struggling with their conscience around some

of our society's most fundamental assumptions. An inspiring story of

personal redemption, compassion, healing and hope,

Peaceable

Kingdom is described by many

of its viewers as 'a life changing

experience."
