Meat Market book review meeting and organizing a dismantlement group

Hi.

I know some of you already attended our book review in April, however, we didn't quite do as much of a review as much as a...free forum conversation on veggie issues. The discussion was great, however, I think it might be a good idea if we all read the book and have a talk about it. If we come prepared--having read the book, maybe making some notes--we can accomplish a whole lot more.

I figure we can start the meeting (sometime in July) by sharing our reactions to Erik Marcus's new book, Meet Market. Then we can discuss what we see might be good goals for a dismantlement organization (even if it's initially comprised of only several people) to have. After this, we can decide which tasks most suit each of us.

Once all of the duties have been assigned, we can continue to meet monthly to check up on each others' progress and continue to expand upon our strategies.

The way I see it, we have the potential for starting up a sort of dismantlement organization. I know that sfbav and baarn already provide us with opportunities for activism, but I feel that a more centralized group might be very powerful.

Please reply if you might be interested in taking part in such a meeting. It would be in July, giving everyone enough time to read it (even slow readers such as myself ^_^ ).
