Marin Monthly Restaurant Outing & North Bay Request

Greetings everyone.

The last couple turnouts for the Marin Restaurant outing have been

rather small, so I'd like to gauge interest in future events. Our

next event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10th at Bombay Garden on

4th Street in San Rafael. It's a relatively new Indian place that

has fantastic food. Please RSVP by Monday the 9th. I'm only going

to host it if we have at least 7 RSVPs. So I will email everyone

that responds to me and let them know if it's on or not on Monday

night.

People requested a monthly Marin outing, and I am willing to

continue to make the arrangements, but I'd like some more interest

in these outings. If people would prefer a monthly potluck at

people's houses, I'm willing to help with that as well, but I hosted

one last year and then nobody followed with hosting one at their

home. I'm willing to host one at my house every few months, but not

monthly. I'd like others to offer to host them at their homes as

well. I'd also like some feedback and/or suggestions on how we can

create a more active North Bay Community.

If you are interested in helping me get more North Bay offerings for

the Bay Area Vegetarians, please let me know.

Hi folks

After getting so many requests from people about having a Marin dinner, when I mentioned this to Alicia as I knew she lived in the area, and she volunteered to host, I was really happy!

Like real life, our events are determined by supply (having volunteers to host events) and demand (people attending events). So please support the events that you would like to see continue... (this is especially true for our Letter Writing Parties. We could use more support at those..as could the animals who benefit from our letters)
