Guest guest
thanks Kim F. for posting great restaurant reviews, here's some more, which I'll forward to my Santa Cruz friends. http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/03.28.01/dining-0113.html Asian Rose http://www.metroactive.com/papers/cruz/01.30.97/dining-9705.html Saturn Cafe === Frozen Northern Chinese Dim Sum all handmade in premise Asian American Food Co 1426 Noriega St/21st Ave SF, CA 94122 415-665-6617, pls call several days in advance to make sure they have plenty in stock They tend to run out. If you buy enough, they can leave out the MSG in the dumpling and potstickers. They told me they don't put too much in it. Chinese cooks are insecure. They feel they must have msg in it or people won't buy/eat their products. It's their "tradition". Chinese diners will not complain but accept msg as part of a permanent dining experience. (silly, I think) vegan items Green Onion Pancake $1.25 sesame pancake $1.99 dumpling 24 for $5.29 (small sizes) (Shan Tong (name means Mountain East) in Oakland sells theirs 50 for ~$13.95 and they are larger sizes), details at http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=494 potstickers (I'll post to the utimate guide if the wrappings are vegan) 16 for $5.29 signature: please, Peace on Earth. http://www.bayareaveg.org /http://www.vegdining.comhttp://www.sfvs.orgLiving Foods: SFLivingFoods/due to my high amount of emails, I am unable to answer everyone's emails on vegetarian questions.
