Feel Real

46th Ave & Judah

everything organic and vegan (they called it plant based)

Yes, the biggest frustration right now, if you are not a local person, is when do they open. I think the time they will open for sure, is dinner time from 6-8pm.

Today, my friend was there at 12 noon and they were not opened.

Here's some tips on their menu. ( ) means, it's not listed on the menu, but I found out by watching other people ordering.

Bowl of Cold Salad $8 huge serving, very good, this is my favorite, (smaller sizes available)

Soup of the Day $5 bowl, huge serving, $3 cup (comes in a bowl) was mushroom soup.

I thought the clear mushoom soup was sort of bland, but maybe it's because I didn't add salt or pepper

Warm Salad $8, is mostly chard with seasoning

(potatoe leek, which tasted better and super thick, was available, samples of their food are available for tasting)

(fresh fruit with SOY yogurt looked great)

Temph sandwich is my friend BJ"s favorite, (a regular customer)

Mushroom burgers are made from organic mushrooms (sandwiches are around $7 or $8)

"Tuna" is made with tofu

3 types of vegan bread $2

hot chocolate soy drinks are made from organic chocolate $3

The pottery used to serve the food is gorgous.

The nice waitress shouldn't blurt out that they are "going to start opening for breakfast, and someone is usually in the restaurant by 6am." I think she threw people off. The owners worked late all night, I don't see how they can get to work by 6am. The places doesn't open by noon, how can she advertise their breakfast so SOON?

Yes, the owners, won't tell me what are the hours. On the night I was there, on a Thursday night, it was busy and they were opened past 7pm. Except for the loud music (which I hope will go away), my dinner experience there was exceptional. (they were super nice to me)

BJ, a local, told me, it's best to recommend people this place, AFTER they sort out the kinks. It seems like the Feel Real folks are laid-back folks that really cares about serving good food to people.

It seems, like a lot of locals are going to give them a chance and try it out. They are really looking forward a place like this in the neighborhood.

For those who come for afar,

stay away, until, they have set hours!
