This week's SAN FRANCISCO WEEKLY (April 27-May 3) features an article by

Harmon Leon entitled, " SAVE THE CUTE ANIMALS! The inside story on

protests against dog-eating, foie gras-enjoying, and fur-wearing. " IDA,

Viva!USA, Farm Sanctuary, and Animal Place are all mentioned by name,

along with descriptions of particular protests in San Francisco. The

piece is written tongue-in-cheek and tends to trivialize the importance

of the issues at hand, as well as the protestors themselves.
