Guest guest
Cheung Yuen Dim Sum 648 Pacific Ave San Francisco (415) 834-1890 Chinatown vegan wrapper filled with cabbage, carrot, bamboo shoots You have to order a minimum of 3 spring rolls. They fry it in a pot exclusively for spring rolls. They sometimes say it's sold out. Just ask them nicely if they can fry a new batch in the kitchen. The Dim Sum place actually wastes a lot of gas, inorder to heat up the oil to fry a few spring rolls. Large orders for vegan potstickers are available. Sorry no samples, this is a custom made order. The Chinese Buddhist community occassionally orders vegan dim sum from this place. The owners, M/M Lee are very nice people who spent a lot of time answering my vegan question. It hasn't been easy, but I"ve been asking them for months so I can give you a full detective ...report. ===== I'm going to be a party pooper, to tell you that ........heating oil in high temperature is not good for you. It can be cancer causing. == Juicey Lucy currently has a limited menu until the grand re-opening settles down. Please remember organic food costs more, so be ready for that. Abbott Paul Sayre the new chef, is a vegan. I think Juicey Lucy is too.signature: please, Peace on Earth. http://www.bayareaveg.org /http://www.vegdining.comhttp://www.sfvs.orgLiving Foods: SFLivingFoods/due to my high amount of emails, I am unable to answer everyone's emails on vegetarian questions.
