For those who have seen Peaceable Kingdom, Emotional World takes a softer approach. There are a few seconds of footage that show the animals in factory farming confinement systems, but it has no bloody or graphic footage. Animal Place, the sanctuary featured at the beginning of the film, and producer of the documentary, is located in Vacaville and offers tours through the spring and summer. A group of BAV folks is going tomorrow. I think there's still a couple of spots available on the BAV trek to Animal Place that Lena is organizing if anyone would like to join us. We're even encouraged to bring fresh veggies for the animals :-) http://www.evite.com//animalplace Farm Sanctuary (located further north in Orland and also New York) also offers tours. http://www.animalplace.org http://www.farmsanctuary.org Cheers, Tammy Veg and Animal Rights events, food, fun, and fellowship http://www.BayAreaVeg.org Check out the Ultimate Guide to Vegetarian Living in the San Francisco Bay Area ... veg foods, services, and more! http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug
