East Oakland Vegan Seeks Roomie!

 

Quiet, highly responsible, queer/bi tomboyish woman seeks

compatible roommate for my cozy home in East Oakland.

 

The house is completely upgraded - new roof, wiring,

plumbing, etc. The bedroom is average size, bright and clean

- bamboo floors and freshly painted. There is also a " bonus

room " behind / separate from the house which I intend to use

for my massage practice and meditation/yoga, which I

would consider sharing. There is plenty of parking - on and

off-street - and a small backyard. The neighborhood is

diverse and

the majority of my neighbors are great - the kids across the

street mow my lawn.

 

I am very busy with a full-time office job and massage

school on weekends. I practice and value direct, open

communication, am a jazz lover, reasonably neat and clean.

Social justice activism and holistic health are important in

my life. Seeking a roomie similar / comfortable with all of

the above. A fellow bodyworker would be most welcome, as

would be a

handyperson type and/or gardener. Please be a drama-free,

trustworthy,

grounded individual with glowing references, excited about a

peaceful, recycling, smoke, meat, and drug free home.

 

I have a talkative cat and a 19-year old boa constrictor, so

sorry, but no room for more cats or dogs.

 

Rent is $600 w/water, gas, electric, garbage included.
