Hi folks,

I haven't been to Sparks since last year's trip, and I'm happy to say the food was wonderful as always and they've done a beautiful job redecorating. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to try more of the brunch and dessert items. Sparks also makes their own ice cream, and I had a chocolatey brownie-cake topped with french vanilla and chocolate sauce. It was excellent. But then I got to sample the apple tart (which I had originally bypassed because it sounded too plain) and I realized what I huge mistake I'd made because it was awesome.

Eric (the chef and owner) shared some exciting news with us -- Sparks is relocating! He is looking for a new location for Sparks, the vegan & organic restaurant. He has several different ideas, and would love to establish Sparks in a community with a larger customer base. If you've always wanted a top-notch vegan restaurant in your community, well, this is your chance to make it happen!

Sparks could move to a variety of locations, like Petaluma, San Francisco, etc. So if you have any leads on a good space, especially with a great (low) price, please let him know. He's looking for a space with seating for 60. Please contact Eric directly at Sparks at (707) 869-8206 or info

Some of the Sparks food items are available at Bay Area stores like Rainbow, and they will continue to be available there.

If you want to visit Sparks in Guerneville before they relocate, you'd better make it up by month's end. And I highly recommend the apple tart!

Cheers,

Tammy
