Guest guest
Just FYI - I did call Berkeley Animal Control and spoke w/someone there. He said they are aware of the situation (got several calls - that's good) and the woman who owned the shop is retiring and the building is getting sold. The Animal Control Officer assured me that the woman is taking care of the parrot and the parrot is going to a sanctuary after the building is sold. Evidently, Animal Control has visited the shop several times and they also know this woman pretty well. So, I guess it's okay, but I'm glad I checked. Thanks for the help! Moya Our first duty to our little brothers and sisters, the animals, is never to do them any harm. Our responsibilities do not end there, however. We are obligated to help them whenever they require it. – Saint Francis
