Guest guest
Hi everyone I'm a new vegetarian and a bit confused as to the concept of food combining. Some sources say this is an outdated concept, others say some food combining is needed... at least legumes and grains should be combined, or at least within a 24-hour period, except tofu... You can see my confusion! Can someone clarify or recommend a recent source? Thanks!
Guest guest
Hi Dyna, I find that Dr. McDougall has the best research data on being a vegan. http://www.drmcdougall.com/ He has stated that food combining was not based on solid research and is misleading. Instead, just eat a good variety of vegetarian dishes. peace, - chuck Each vegetarian saves about 80 animals each year from a lifetime of misery and death. A vegetarian diet requires 300 gallons of water a day whilst a meat-eating diet requires more than 4,000 gallons of water a day. www.earthsave.org On Mar 21, 2005, at 8:12 PM, Dyan Ferguson wrote: > > > Hi everyone > > I'm a new vegetarian and a bit confused as to the concept of food > combining. > Some sources say this is an outdated concept, others say some food > combining > is needed... at least legumes and grains should be combined, or at > least > within a 24-hour period, except tofu...
