Guest guest
Hi folks! Just a reminder that the next Bay Area Vegetarians' Vegan Food Party will be in Atherton at Mary's house on Saturday 3/26. We'll start the festivities (i.e. food) promptly at 6 pm, and you're welcome to arrive anytime after 5:30 pm. FYI, Mary shares her home with 2 dogs. For folks new to the list, "Vegan Food Party" is our term for a gathering where everyone brings a vegan dish to share. And anytime you get a combination of yummy foods and people together, it automatically becomes a party, hence the term "Vegan Food Party". Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a veg or not. We just ask that you bring a vegan dish to share. Vegan foods are foods without any animal ingredients or by-products. If you want to check out some recipes from past VFPs: http://www.bayareaveg.org/recipes.htm Sometimes this is a perfect opportunity to try a new recipe, or share an old favorite. You are welcome to animal-test any new recipes on hungry volunteers. We do ask that folks bring a vegan dish that provides 6 generous servings, serving utensil, your own place setting, and a copy of the ingredient list for folks who have allergies or questions. If you are using a meat or cheese analog, please remember to check the ingredients as not all of them are vegan. If you have any questions about vegan foods or vegan food parties in general, or need some recipe suggestions, I'm happy to try and help. Please RSVP to Mary using the below link and she'll confirm your RSVP with directions.
