List your March activist events now for inclusion in Indybay's Fault Lines newspaper

Hello everyone

I just wanted to tip you off to try and

list as many March activist events as you can by this weekend (of course, you’re

welcome to add more later as you see fit). The reason is that Fault Lines

newspaper is about to go to print next week and this’ll be the last

chance for AR events to make the back-cover calendar.

So, if you get your event up, not only

will you reach many of Indybay’s 20 to 30,000 average daily online visitors,

you will reach a large offline audience of over 7,500 in the Bay Area who read

Fault Lines every month, and everyone checks the calendar. Fault Lines assembles

the events for the back page calendar by pulling events from Indybay’s

online calendar, and for the last three months, at least two AR activist events

have made it to the back cover calendar each issue. But, now, I’m

looking at the Animal Lib calendar and there’s not a single local AR event

listed for next month. Surely something’s happening. Time to

represent, people.

In the past, fur, foie gras, vivisection and

vegetarian events have made the back cover of the newspaper, with URLs of

sponsoring orgs, but we’re looking at missing out this time.

It’s really easy to do and only takes

a couple of minutes, but if you need any help, just ask me. (Note that I

will be out of town and offline all of next week.)

Thanx for the work you’re doing for

the animals

Peace,

David

(save your confirmation # so that you can

edit the event later if need be)

For news, stories on upcoming events, or

photos of actions already carried out, post to the newswire: http://www.indybay.org/publish.php

(note that if your calendar event is far

off, I tend to like to post initial word of it on newswire as well as post it

to calendar)
