Help PETA tomorrow morning by handing out veg starter guides for an hour!

In light of the avian flu, PETA has been getting terrific

international media in Vietnam for handing

out “emergency” vegetarian

starter guides to people at airports flying to Vietnam. They’re

looking for an activist who can go to the

San Francisco airport

(now easily accessible by

BART) tomorrow or Thursday morning to hand out some guides along with a flyer

they’ll send you. No media will be here locally; they

just want someone to leaflet there for the benefit of the Vietnam media, who will

hopefully keep running the story if activists can keep

doing events like this. This would be really short--from about 9:30-10:30—but

could have a big

reward in media coverage for

it (as well as people spending the next 15 hours on a plane having a veg

starter guide to read on the flight). Please email ChrisH if you think you’ll be

able to do it.
