The vegan-friendly restaurant "Fellini Restaurant" on University in Berkeley is now serving breakfast/brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and offers many vegan options, such as Tofu Scramble (4 different kinds), Canadian Bacon/Sausage, Hash Browns, etc. and plans on adding pancakes and waffles. (Not their official website, but the address and map is here http://www.shopinberkeley.com/f/fellini/index.php)

When we went there for dinner a couple months ago, we enjoyed their vegan pizza topped with Follow Your Heart vegan cheese (which can now be found at Whole Foods and Farmer Joe's in Oakland), pumpkin soup (they used veggie broth), and gorgeous chocolate cake.

My understanding is there are many vegan employees who influence the menu, and the owner really wants to accommodate vegans, so PLEASE check them out, go to their vegan breakfast, and write/call them to thank them for so many great dishes!

--------------------- “The new Vegetarian Cooking DVD is superb: thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable as well as inspiring and instructive. This is a really useful tool for anyone wanting to enhance their ability to confidently prepare delicious and healthful meals. The emphasis here is not on extremely elaborate meal preparation but on simple meals that you will make time and time again. They are that good.” ~John Robbins, author of Diet For A New America and The Food Revolution
