Guest guest
Hi folks The next Bay Area Vegetarians monthly dinner at Shangri-La will be Thursday, February 24th at 6 pm, eat at 6:30 pm. This is a wonderful, mostly vegan, Chinese Restaurant on Irving near 21st in San Francisco, and one of our favorite restaurants. Shangri-La is also one of oldest veg restaurants in SF (in business since 1978). We hope you will join us to celebrate the new Lunar Year. We will be sitting at the two large round tables at the back, which make it easy to share good food and conversations. As the event does sell-out, we really enourage you to RSVP early as we don't like to turn folks away (as we did last month). We have personally selected this menu of our favorite dishes to share with you: Appetizer: Steamed Dumplings Soup: Shanghai Style Won Ton Soup Entrees: (1) Kung Pao Beef+ (2) Dry Cooked String Beans (3) Home Made Dry Tofu with Vegetarian Pork (aka #40) + (4) Pie Pa Tofu Balls with Broccoli (5) Vegetable Chow Mein (6) Spicy Eggplant (7) Mixed Greens + These dishes contains an imitation meat . Served with Brown Rice, Tea, and after-dinner Fruit It is $15 for this 9-course vegan dinner, tax & tip included. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a veg or non-veg, member or non-member. Space is limited so please send payment now to reserve your seat at our special dinner. You'll find payment details , public transit info, and more on the dinner page at:http://www.bayareaveg.org/sfdinner.htm And more vegetarian and advocacy events on the event calendar. So if you can't make this event, we hope to see you at another! http://www.BayAreaVeg.org/events.php Gung Hay Fat Choy! (Best wishes and Congratulations. Have a prosperous and good year.)
