Guest guest
The first Bay Area Veg 3rd Friday monthly dinner at Kaleva was a real success! Fourteen people attended, and we had a delicious meal, good conversation, and a lot of fun. A few of us even sat around chatting (and nibbling!) till past midnight. The next Kaleva dinner will be Feb. 18; I'll send out an invitation soon. Visit the BAV Event Calendar for other events at: http://www.BayAreaVeg.org/events.php. " I have to agree with Thea, the dinner on Friday was a lot of fun, and reasonably priced, too. http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=397 I am just amazed at how one monthly dinner in Oakland, started by Bob in August 2003, has expanded to include three dinners in SF, as well as the Peninsula and South Bay. That's six dinners a month! And for you North Bay folks... there's one coming your way... soon!! For anyone interested, we've got a couple of seats open for this Thursday's Shangri-La dinner (9 course vegan Chinese food) http://www.bayareaveg.org/sfdinner.htm I hope our advocacy events become as well-attended as the dinners :-) Thanks to our monthly dinner hosts for making these events possible.
