Please join the Bay Area Vegetarians for a new monthly dinner at Kaleva Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Friday of each month, the first to be held Friday, January 21, 2005.

 

Kaleva (www.kalevarestaurant.com; http://www.bayareaveg.org/ug/display.htm?id=397) is a fabulous new all-vegetarian, mainly vegan, Indian restaurant, with creative and delicious food that goes far beyond the lentils and spinach we're so used to seeing in Bay Area Indian restaurants. The prices are very reasonable, and we'll plan to order off the menu, eating by 6:45 or 7 p.m.

 

The restaurant is located at 35 6th Street between Market & Mission in SF. It's just one block from the Powell Street Bart station. If you'd like to attend, please RSVP me directly at Thea_Langsam by Thursday, January 20 (rsvp'ing is not mandatory, but is encouraged to plan seating at the group table).
