Guest guest
Happy New Year to all! I have two recipes that are vegan friendly, except they call for heavy cream. I'd really like to try them - does anyone know a replacement for heavy cream? I'm thinking soy milk with corn starch, but I'm a novice. Help! Guest guest
Silk makes a soy creamer, that I've used in place of heavy dairy cream with success. I don't think it's heavy enough to replace whipped cream, but for fudge and other creamy treats it works out just fine. You can find it near the refrigerated soymilk at many health/natural food stores in the area. -Kim On Wed, 5 Jan 2005, Moya Stone wrote: > Happy New Year to all! > > I have two recipes that are vegan friendly, except they call for heavy cream.
