Guest guest
From what I've read - they haven't found any dead animals yet - it seems that most of them knew it was coming and got out of the area.

I have also read that animals at a wildlife preserve headed toward higher ground and were found safe. I doubt, however, that dogs, other pets or strays, and animals kept for food managed to evacuate the cities/villages and farms struck by the tsunami. Just wanted to mention this, because I thought Emily's e-mail could be taken to suggest that animals weren't also victims of the tsunami and thus that there is no need to give aid to animal organizations working in the affected areas (not to say that's what you meant, Emily!).
