I just called to try to make a reservation they are closed until the 11th.

Please call them on the 11th and make a reservation (for as many as you can without giving them a credit card #) and then 15 mins after the time reserved call and cancel and tell the owner why.Kate Danaher <kdanaher wrote:

restaurant.Foie Gras is produced when ducks and geese are force fed large amounts ofcorn and oil through a long metal pipe inserted into their throats byfarmers. Excessive amounts of fat is injected straight into their gulletsand causes their livers to grow 10 times their normal size. It also causessevere obesity, resulting in the birds¹ inability to stand, walk, and breathcorrectly. Death of some birds occurs when the animals¹ necks are puncturedby feeding tubes or when their stomachs burst. These diseased livers arethen sold as Foie Gras which is considered to be a delicacy in many Frenchrestaurants. In reality Foie Gras is a brutal form of animal cruelty andyour restaurant currently supports this cruelty.Currently the production of Foie Gras is banned in many countries such asthe United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Finland, Norway,Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Luxemburg. ruled thatit violates these countries¹ animal cruelty laws. Senate Bill 1520 bans theforced feeding of ducks and geese and the selling of forced fed Foie Gras inCalifornia beginning in the year 2012.Until Foie Gras is taken off your menu I will not support your business andI will actively recommend that the public choose to pass on frequenting yourrestaurant as well.Demonstrations in support of ending Foie Gras cruelty at your location arecurrently in the planning stages.
