Reminder: Scrabble Saturday--January 8th, 2005

Scrabble-Rama

Saturday afternoon, 1:00PM til 5:00 or so, January 8,

2005.

We're going to meet and play at Mother Nature

Vegetarian Cuisine in Albany, where we'll have plenty

of room to spread out our boards and have our games.

We aren't required to have a meal there, but I'm open

to ordering a few appetizers during the game and/or

have dinner if people are interested.

Looking for a few more Scrabble enthusiasts to join

the five who have already RSVP'd. All levels of play

and experience, to get together for games,

socializing, and vegan snacking in the New Year.

We'll be featuring at least one game of 14 tile

Scrabble, using the combined tiles of two sets, with

four players using two boards at the same time.

Haven't you always wanted to play your hand and spell

quadruplicate, zymurgy, exquisiteness, and

xylophonist, and felt limited by your meager selection

of 7 tiles?

Mother Nature Vegetarian Cuisine is located at 843 San

Pablo Ave., Albany, near Solano Ave. BART accessible

from downtown or north Berkeley stations via bus or

from El Cerrito Plaza and a fifteen minute walk or

bus.
