Saturday afternoon, 1:00PM til 5:00 or so, January 8, 2005.

 

Looking for a few Scrabble enthusiasts, all levels of play and experience, to get together for games, socializing, and vegan snacking in the New Year. We'll be featurning at least one game of 14 tile Scrabble, using the combined tiles of two sets, with four players using two boards at the same time. Haven't you always wanted to play your hand and spell quadruplicate, zymurgy, exquisiteness, and xylophonist, and felt limited by your meager selection of 7 tiles?

If you can host in a BART/bus/walking-friendly location in SF or the East Bay, please let me know; otherwise we may meet out in Montara at our BAV list moderator's home. We're looking at needing space for 4-10 interested players.
