Guest guest
‘One-Eyed Wally’ in need of immediate eye surgery Wallis, a rotund 14-year-old Queensland Heeler mix, is in need of urgent veterinary care to mend a serious eye condition. Earlier this year, Wallis was callously thrown over a six-foot fence at an animal shelter by an unknown party. The aging canine was found by shelter volunteers with one of his eyeballs dangling outside the socket. Wallis’ injured eye was permanently removed by the shelter veterinarian. Shortly thereafter, Wallis, known as ‘The Old Man’ and ‘One-Eyed Wally’, was rescued by a kindhearted Oakland resident. Since his rescue, Wallis unfortunately was diagnosed with an acute condition affecting his remaining eye. Wallis is compassionately calling for help to fund his much-needed surgery. Unfortunately, his caregiver does not have the funds to cover the $1,000 eye surgery. The surgery will be canceled without medical finances. Contributions for Wallis’ urgent vet care can be made payable to Creature Comforts Holistic Veterinary Center and sent to: Creature Comforts Holistic Veterinary Center 2501 MacArthur Blvd. Oakland, CA 94602 Attn: The Wallis Fund For more information about Wallis’ plight, please contact (510) 938-5159 or info. --- East Bay Animal Advocates P.O.
