Guest guest
Greetings: The First Annual Grassroots Animal Rights conference is a conference made by animal rights activists for animal rights activists, and it is geared towards empowering and uniting the animal rights movement. GARC will take place during presidents day weekend in February 18-21, 2005 at New York University in New York City. GARC aims to provide workshops and speakers to train and help activists from different areas of animal advocacy strategize future projects and the direction of the animal rights movement. We hope to create a dialogue that will unify our movement. This is an opportunity to meet groups and activists working on similar projects, and this a great way to exchange information about what tactics work and how to unite to further your cause. GARC stands out as a conference where activists will learn and share skills that we will us move the animal rights movement past its obstacles towards effective solutions. We would love to have your organization come to GARC and be a part of this exciting change and progression in the animal rights movement. For more information about the conference, please visit www.grassrootsar.org. Feel free to contact me at (925) 487-4419 if you have any questions about the conference. We look forward to seeing your organization in 2005! Sincerely, Christine --- East Bay Animal Advocates P.O. Perhaps we should think about doing something like this on a smaller, Bay Area scale ??
