Monday & Tuesday Food Not Bombs Needs a New Cookhouse

Greetings,

 

East Bay Food Not Bombs is a consensus based organization that

serves free vegan food at Peoples Park in Berkeley Monday through

Friday around 2:30-3:30ish. Much of our donations come from organic

food vendors at farmers markets, stuff that hasn't been sold and

would otherwise be thrown away. You can read more about the history

We are currently looking for a new cooking location for Monday or

Tuesday, or both days. A large kitchen on the ground floor in North

Oakland or Berkeley that could fit about 5 people would be ideal. In

exchange we can provide the house with with free lunch and leftovers

( a lot of times we get too much food), a kitchen that is as clean

as or cleaner than when we arrive and of course vegetarian and vegan

community.
