Vegan Mom Espouses Veganism to Millions on Trading Spouses

Many of you are aware of Project Healthy Beginning's role in passing

the " Healthy School Lunch Resolution " in CA in 2003 - urging schools

to offer vegan lunches. I wanted to share with all of you my latest

bit of activism: myself and family will be featured as the CA vegans

on the next two episodes of " Trading Spouses, " a whacky reality show

where they stir things up by switching wifes/moms.

 

My experience was overall very positive with the family being very

open about vegan ideas and they loved my food!! But life was not

perfect on the Bayous of Louisiana. I am now crossing my fingers that

the show will be edited to reflect the positive experience, but we

all know how editing can distort reality. For example, on the

previews for our show EVERYTHING was taken out of context and

distorted. They referred to me as a " sharp-tongued ... tree hugger "

(Guilty as charged) but I am way more than that!!

 

My goal was to show America the benefits of choosing vegan. And to

break down the vegan AR stereo type. Please send your positive
