Guest guest
I am writing with an update to the post I put up last week (see below) re: Simba the dog. I spoke with an extremely helpful officer (rare!) at the Oakland Animal Shelter, who said that it looks like Simba is going to be deemed " adoptable. " After he is neutered, we are going to " spring " him from prison. I cannot keep him at my apartment because I a) have a dog and two cats, and b) the people who sent him off to the shelter live in the same building. We will need to find him a foster home, or better yet -- a permanent one -- immediately. Another option is that we are hoping we can take Simba to the cushy SFSPCA where he can hopefully be placed in a great home, or at least live there peacefully. Please let me know if you can help Simba. He (and I) will be very grateful!
