Guest guest
Vege House in SF closed, their phone is disconnected. When Vege House first started in the "Ranch 99 type" shopping Center in the city of Richmond, their fried tofu were selling like hot cakes. They were so successful, they moved to a larger 70+ seat location on University Ave in Berkeley. They spent a lot of money remodeling and custom painted their walls with beautiful outdoor murals. Then all of the sudden, 9-11 came about. All restaurant businesses went downhill. Also, having a business in downtown Berkeley where there are tons of inexpensive places to eat didn't cut it. Students would rather pay for the less expensive "meat" based meals than the vegetarian meals at Vege House. So that's the story, another THE END. -- Meranda's Sushi is now called Donna's Cafe. The new owner Donna said, 10% off large orders eat in or take out. You can say you are with the Veggie Group. Maggie Mudd's vegan ice cream is still available for sale. Ice Cream sales is slow during the winter, maybe swing by and buy a $1.50 vegan ice cream. 1541 Clement St/17th Ave SF Weekdays except for Tuesday 7am-9pm closed Tuesdays Weekend 10-7pm vote. - Register online to vote today!
