Guest guest Posted October 13, 2004 Report Share Posted October 13, 2004 Hey fellow Veg-heads! I just got back from a lovely lunch at the cafeteria in the new Clark Building at Stanford. (381 Campus Drive) For the first time they had a lovely vegan entree (eggplant stew, saffron rice and broccoli). In addition, their salad bar had a new sign that said it is totally Organic and Vegan. I couldn't believe my eyes! The sign actually said " Organic, Vegan Salad Bar (no DAIRY or Animal Products) " ! (previously almost half the dishes had cheese!) Yea!!!... I've been wanting to start a vegetarian/vegan/animal rights group for Stanford Faculty, Staff, Grad students and Post docs. (the young-uns have their own group).
