Press Conference: Thursday, October 7, 10 AM, UCSF, 400 Parnassus Ave.

Dear Animal Vigilers, Guardians, Companions, Lovers and Liberators,

 

There is a press conference - scheduled for 10 AM, Thursday, October 7, at 400 Parnassus Ave., near statue of Hippocrates and UCSF Ambulatory Care Center - to highlight the cruel treatment of monkeys at UCSF, as well as its numerous violations of the Animal Welfare Act in recent years. We just need few persons to assist in holding a few signs - so if you can make it, your help would be much appreciated.

 

Special thanks should be given to Michael Budkie, Executive Director of Stop Animal Exploitation Now (SAEN), for organizing National Primate LIberation Week (October 2nd to 10th) and for composing the report - "Primate Experimentation in the U.S., The Facts We Weren't Supposed to Know" - which will be available for potential news media at the press conference. Whether or not we attract media attention, we will remain in the area to demonstrate and leaflet passers-by for at least an hour or two, say around 11 AM or noon.
