However, all the food is vegan, and deliciously so. RSVP's are required to my email address, veganliving by noon on Saturday October 2nd. Sunday October 3, 2004 @ 6PM Mother Nature Vegetarian Cuisine 843 San Pablo Ave. (near Solano Ave.) Albany, CA 94706 (510) 528-5388 Longtime vegetarian mainstay Ambrosia Garden in Albany closed several months ago as the owners decided it was time to retire. In its place is Mother Nature Vegetarian Cuisine, a completely vegan Chinese and Malaysian restaurant at the same location and same phone number. The owners are Malaysian cousins, several women with many years of experience cooking and serving vegan meals. They use no GMO ingredients, no MSG, and no canned food. As Buddhists, they also cook without the use of garlic or onion, and sadly for those who enjoy a cold beer with a spicy dish, do not serve alcoholic beverages. The owners are friendly, knowledgable about vegan dining, and eager to introduce themselves to the vegetarian community. Reviewed in this week's edition of The East Bay Express. Look forward to seeing new faces as well as those who have attended the Third Sunday of the month New World Vegetarian Restaurant dinners in Oakland. See you there!
