Register for the Oakland Walk for Farm Animals 2004!

*We only have 1/2 of the amount of people registered as compared to last

year's numbers. We need your support next Saturday.*

WHEN: October 2nd, World Farm Animals Day!

11:00 a.m. registration

12:00 p.m. walk

WHERE: Splash Pad Park in Oakland - during the Grand Lake Farmer's

Market! This year we'll be right on the lawn with all the other

vendors. Great exposure and potential on-the-spot walkers!

WHO: Organizers: Colleen Patrick-Goudreau and Christine Morrissey

HOW DO I REGISTER? To obtain a pledge form & registration card, visit

www.walkforfarmanimals.org/locations/oakland.htm. Please send your

registration information to Christine Morrissey, 3316 Guthrie Court,

Pleasanton, CA 94588.

*There is a $10 registration fee that entitles each registrant to a Walk

for Farm Animals T-shirt designed by “Mutts " comic creator Patrick

McDonnell. To reserve your T-shirt, please register no later than three

weeks prior to the Walk.*

Volunteers needed for several tasks. Please let us know if you're

willing to spread the word. We had 60 people last year and media

coverage. We can double the number this year if everyone registers

themselves plus one walker! Write to

Christine or call (925) 487-4419 for

questions or to volunteer.

For the animals,

Colleen & Christine
