fur flying this fall season

Did anyone see the S.F. Chronicle Magazine this past

Sunday? It's their fashion issue. Even though they are

usually pretty good about animal rights issues, they

didn't mind listing fur as a big part of fashion this

year. In fact, the editor, Alison Biggar, says in her

intro. that fur is so " ... prevalent this year that

not showing it would have ignored the reality of

fall's biggest trend. " It's too bad that they didn't

also include the reality of fur trapping, etc. I'm so

angry with them/her for not taking the opportunity to

condemn the fur trend and educate people.

 

Anyway, if anyone wants to send letters ...
