Join us this Thursday for our monthly letter writing party from 7 to 9 pm. We will be writing letters to the editor, letters to legislators and restaurant owners encouraging vegetarian foods, animal friendly legislation and overall vegetarian awareness.

 

MaggieMudd is an ice cream restaurant in Bernal Heights. They have an excellent selection of frozen vegan treats. We will be in the back at one or two of the tables eating vegan ice cream and doing the write thing.

This will be our first event offering Advocay Rewards Program Points. 3000 points to everyone who attends. More details - http://bayareaveg.org/arp.htm This is a very fun event to do if you're a new activist or do not like to leaflet. It's helpful if you can also bring:-pen and paper-envelopes-name of your State Assemblyperson and Senator (http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/yourleg.html)-veg or AR topics to write on, or use the ones we provide.
