Guest guest
Sweet, neglected pit bull needs second chance! Misty is a sweet and demure 3 year-old, red-nosed pit bull who's had a hard life. She has spent much of her life living in a flea-infested junkyard in Oakland all by herself, giving birth to litter after litter of puppies. Recently, Misty's " owner " was incarcerated. The girlfriend of Misty's incarcerated owner refuses to take care of Misty, leaving Misty essentially abandoned. A kind neighbor has taken the initiative to get Misty spayed, vaccinated, and de-fleaed and to find her a new home. But, while this nice woman is searching for Misty's new forever home, Misty needs somewhere to stay temporariy. Can you foster her? Misty is small (about 30 pounds), gentle, and a bit shy. She is not high-energy as many pit bulls are, and she is kind to other dogs. She desperately needs another chance, and the first step is finding her a foster home. If you can open your home to Misty temporarily (or permanently!), contact Christine at christine. --- East Bay Animal Advocates P.O.
